Throughout my studies in health related fields in and out of a tertiary environment it is universally preached that quality of life is the utmost of importance when it comes to treatment.
It's better to be dying and being as happy as possible than be dying and already being dead on the inside. People want to enjoy the last moments with their loves ones as much as possible than drag out the inevitable and watch them suffer (even moreso) over a greater period of time.
In my opinion Sirt is better, given the results and thus would be my choice if suffering the condition. But the SP doesn't always react rationally or to how I think. I'm happy to hold because I think sales figures will pull it through. We shall see.
