Interesting field trial with the owner of Sky-Sat Africa. They claim to be the leading telco partner in Africa for a range of industries that are transaction heavy, either financial or IOT. If Paratus rolls out a series of cheap and remote transactions for all their customer segments then that would be quite a good result for SAS. A model that would be viable in all the poor countries it is targeting.

I assume something like this wouldn’t go live until there is 24/7 service available which is a H2 2019 milestone onnthe investor presentation.

The good news is that encouraging agreements continue to roll at SAS. The further good news is that it will be another two years until revenue starts rolling in so there is a lot of buying opportunity left.

If SAS gets that funding. Fingers crossed.
