From my rough calculations they've been clocking up in the region of $5-600,000 after tax profit a day in recent times ...this is a cash cow and its no wonder they felt comfortable enough to give a special dividend...even a $100/t margin between all up costs and prices recieved is $175m after tax a year , that alone covers the start up costs for UG mining.
However we better not get ahead of ourselves we don't know what next years average prices will be but at the moment the cash is rolling in..I think its safe to say the next FY is unlikely to be as good as this one but it doesnt need to be...
