Ok so an announcement with only half the story. To form any sort of view on a company acquisition we need to know the price paid and terms of which we do not yet know. Why not? If the price and terms are linked in with another venture or partnership not yet announced, why not tell investors there is more news to follow regarding terms.
In any case, a myriad of announcements pending and this was certainly not at the top of my list of expected announcements. I think the market has acted appropriately to this announcement as we really haven't the information to assess properly. I am also hoping for further announcements prior to the AGM to give some insight to what is rattling around in BLs head. Just a shame they can hide behind the screens and pick and choose the questions they respond to at upcoming AGM.
