I have had a couple of decades in the offshore industry not directly drilling but soaked up a lot of information but I need a lot more understanding of drilling etc with respect to CBM. Here I think you have clearly outlined your feelings on the drilling. Just to add I'm wondering it the offset [is it 200 metres?] hole drilled as a pressure monitoring facility is being used and what they are getting there. Again my lack of knowledge just poses the question as I understand that this info can have or be a good indicator of permeability of the coals when considered with the de-watering well stats.
The "by far" most concerning aspect for me is the geopolitical one For example Japan and the USA are joined at the hip [Read H2] and the CBM part of the operation is to deal with China. Go figure. And Grandis?? is it better than a "wildcat" ATM?
I really hope that EXR does well with CBM as I think that is needed for the other explorers in Mongolia.
So JM thanks for the honest opinions, The risk here for me needs mitigating. I may see you on the other side as energy and gas is a big part of my portfolio and I'm guessing it is for you too.
