Fascinating dealmaking. It's the same deal plus additional $5mil shares upfront and the performance side of it has been scrapped. SBM get the 52.2mil for sitting around rather than getting Tower Hill going, which suits the way they operate, they aren't particularly good at getting things done efficiently. Free cash for sitting around, who doesn't like that, probably better off happening under GMD anyhow.
The market will likely misjudge this re GMD share price today, it's only $5mill anti raise in the bidding war.
