I wouldn't be surprised if there is more to come. I would be surprised if they let this opportunity get away, however I think the only way SLR get it over the line is by way of a merger proposal.

SBM is down because of poor management and heavy shorting but that doesn't change the fact that there is millions of ounces of gold over a large area (it is not just Gwalia) which takes SLR next level. Simberi (PNG) is making money and Atlantic (Canada) is a difficult one but there is lots of gold there and SLR could always sell it later.
