years ago I was in Otto energy, and did not do well. I am in again for some months now, due to the wonderful oil they were producing and the company looked undervalued. The broader market doesn't see it that way obviously.
And any potential partner drilling SC55 must wonder why BHP relinquished it, and would really look it over carefully.
Question.....with the extension can someone remind me ... I believe BHP is still up to pay for a large share of OEL's drilling costs...is that correct?
If so, then some company will take a gamble. Only they might not wish to put in so much.... as they respect BHP and are going to be very cautious. If BHP doesn't want in....there must be a very good reason.....and so there is negotiating going on ...big time.
However, Shell didn't want to do the Senagal trip with FAR either.
Can someone confirm that BHP has to pay what they promised earlier now that the extension has been granted.? thanks
