So perhaps this was about getting all the laundry out for airing - prior to the half yearly reports for both WPL and BHP, the announcement days for both have been moved to align with each other.
BHP would want the public to know there has or hasnt been a 30% cost blowout on scarborough prior to selling WPL all its O&G assets to WPL for scrip...
