It'll change when we get real. NZ got real and their society and economy is effectively operating normally within the confines of managing a viral threat.
All the chest-beating "she'll be right" leaders have been shown to be fools. The more macho, the bigger the disaster.
This all started with one case so as long as we allow a single community transmission we'll just have wave after wave. That's the truth of it whether people like it or not.
