This stock is a good recovery play.. but it is a recovery play - no doubt about that.
I think especially if people are working from home more, they'll want to get out of the house and the quality shopping centres are a good way to do that. (Not to mention almost half of SCG tenants are consume on site style rather than pure goods retailers)
I'm QLD based and from experience, the big shopping centres seem just as busy foot traffic wise as they were pre-covid (albeit we have been lucky covid case wise)
In my view it's not without risk, but much less of a punt then travel stocks/office reits etc, and priced with the same if not more negativity.
Will have to be patient though!
