Not an answer to your question but some interesting reading to be had on Arpan Pal's twitter account given the confirmation yesterday by the CEO that TCS is (at least) working on using Akida for the hand signal control of robots.

As a result of looking at his account I accepted the link to the account of Avik Ghose (also TCS) and turned up the following link:

The document produced by TCS at this link location is particularly interesting because it fits with the earlier material I posted regarding Arpan Pal's article which placed spiking neural network chips (ie Akida) at the heart of non intrusive health and machine monitoring and his recently granted patent for such health monitoring systems and confirms that this research is currently a mainstream TCS direction and project in my opinion beyond TCS's current offerings in this area. The whole document needs to be read and at the end you will note that Arpan Pal is one of the authors.
