Lone Star absolutely not telling the truth regarding their intentions and reasons for buying, and I can't believe SEH aren't waiting until the final investment decisions go through next year and then trying to get the best price they can.
It smells like the management have had enough and this is a quick way out. Corrie will have 27 mill shares in SEH if this gets approved and I think he's probably only bought about 2mill of them on market, from memory.
MUFG are clearly supporting LS, IMO. The institutions will support the takeover because they wont want to take the risk of the share price dropping significantly if it gets rejected or if members of the board retire.
