Toyota have more patents, done more research and thrown more money at solid state lithium batteries than anyone else. I'd hardly call that the "absolute minimum". I think they're being dragged kicking and screaming specifically into lithium-ion batteries. They want to skip straight past that generation and into the superior solid states. But things have moved too fast, the timeline hasn't worked out and they have to pivot into lithium ion to stay relevant. They'll make a few lithium-ion cars but then they'll go for solid states as soon as they are commercially viable. They're playing the long game, and I hope it works out for them because I'd love to buy a solid-state lithium Toyota as my first EV. Here's a quick recent article talking about it: https://techwireasia.com/2021/06/can-japans-toyota-champion-the-solid-state-battery-race/
Why do you still have so little knowledge of ORE, a company you're soon going to own a big chunk of. Their quarterly and annual presentations are really good and have a lot more detail than most companies. Not the first time I've suggested this, go read the latest quarterly: https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-quarterly-activities-report.6011795/ The annual report has more detailed information, but it's nearly a year old, so not as relevant. A LOT has changed in the past year as you know, this was before the lithium price rise: https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-annual-report-to-shareholders.5588639/
So you're asking ORE holders to come here and inform you? Well we have, a few of us like Stephan90 and butcherboy have made plenty of quality posts discussing ORE. Not much more we can do besides repeat what we've already said. Besides, it's not our job to keep you informed about your investments. To quote HotCopper's #1 slogan, DYOR.
