From what I read NEM will control over 60% of the global gold production post TO. I'm surprised this corporate move has had the blessing of regulators . It's not hard to imagine that NEM can have a significant influence on the gold price going forward by holding back or releasing gold stocks to their advantage. Similar I suppose to oil cartels influencing the price of oil. I think your view of an $80 SP is not unrealistic but of course no one knows at this stage . Im punting on an upward trend developing quickly post TO. I like being with a global leader in any commodity , especially gold with CU credits .
