    There is no CHESS equivalent in US. All share certificates are with a private entity- Cede & Co.
    The investors get an IOU from the brokers and DTCC which allows for extreme criminal activities like Citadel conducts in its dark pools.
    I will be selling my CDIs as soon as possible since they will be linked to an IOU.
