First time ever I have voted so early. Usually a card I keep up my sleeve, this time it was sooo easy to vote against this after reading up on DVP underlying value. The hope early votes sends a signal that the next bid needs to be serious and not a surrogate of MIN. Also cuts down on phonecalls .
A scenario is MIN is trying to gain control of ESS via DVP. It is able to vote it's 20% into the scheme that only requires 75%. A full takeover would require 90%. if MIN had have lead the takeover via scheme that current 20% holding would be excluded from vote, putting MIN behind the eight ball... just a scenario.
