They have zero integrity. That's exactly it, you've nailed it. From now on, who will believe anything IP says, whether he's at TMT or AVL ? Even if the merger goes ahead, there will be so many unhappy and offended shareholders crossing from TMT, with a distrust of the joint management that the merged company will be in a state of constant unease. I think today's developments have been the final nail in the coffin for both TMT and AVL. I wouldn't invest in either of them even if the V2O5 price went to US$30/lb. Too much crap going down, with mostly likely RCF and Regal pulling the strings. Another lesson learned - avoid investing in mining stocks with either of those two on the register.
