Hi mate, I am not familiar with either miners or financial reports, and reading the booklet is a waste of my time if I can see inputs from others.
Especially thanks to @TazD an@Samscout to share their insights, that is enough to draw my conclusion with common sense. They have listed so many challenges to the so-called independent expert opinions, any of them would be evident enough for me to raise my concern to their honesties.
Taken the POG for example, as an investor of gold miners, do you believe the gold price will be 10% lower than current price in whatever timeframes in the future? Do you believe the SLR board members seriously think so when the booklet estimate value of SLR assets accordingly? If they don't anticipate the POG will be back to somewhere around USD$2100, why they tried to convince SLR share holders to believe the figures in the booklet?
