Not sure if correct. Amounts paid from capital cannot be franked.
However I think you can pay franked dividends even if retained earnings are negative.
As long as Net Assets does not end up being negative.
This means that Crowe potentially could still pay a big franked dividend.
I read it as promising that Scheme Document specifically allows payment of dividend to extent of existing franking credits.
Still a good bet. Buy at 49 cents and get back 50 cents in early January. Or, they declare a franked dividend and pocket a nice return. Love it. Heads you get your money back and tails you get your money back plus some !!
