well, that's interesting - SXY has about 187m shares - but seems Proxies only accounted for 105m shares -> ie only 56% of the shares were voted by Proxy.
I guess some shareholders will vote at the meeting online?
Even more surprising to me, is that there are almost 13,000 shareholders - and only 1,390 shareholders bothered to vote?
So only about 11% of shareholders bothered to vote?? How strange.
I can see some larger shareholders voting their shares online today - but not many smaller shareholders will vote online is my guess.
I don't have shares, but used have quite a sizable holding for many years.
Met Ian Davies several times, and I think he is/was a very good operator.
I think the Board did very well for the company and for shareholders.
It's a good price struck before the O&G price spike because of the Ukraine situation.
