I’m also very disappointed to exit NTC at this price.

However, I’ve read comments in more than one place about 5G in regards to TLS and they suggest 5G might not be the great saviour some are expecting.

I don’t know how valid these points are but some of them sound plausible.

Reasons such as -:

The range isn’t that good.

Unable to penetrate buildings very well

Apparently the roll out will be expensive as it requires more towers than 4G (though that could be a plus for NTC)

Users might not be so quick to spend the money on an upgrade if they’re not convinced of benefits and they are OK with 4G speeds

As users move from 4G to 5G those remaining on 4G will get improved performance due to less demand
