Ann: Scheme of Arrangement Update - CMA condition waived, page-9

This article seems to be saying "oils ain't oils" and all shale deposits are different and require different science?  First I have heard this.  I thought the technology to drill and frack was now known, given that there would be slight variation on the best approach to be applied to any particular deposit.  Does anyone know definitively if this is the case?  Is this the basis of the 10-15 year claims some from the UK are making - I thought it was general exploration and development timescales.
