You are correct the Simonds family owns 39% they are also excluded from voting so i would suggest if they want this deal to come across the line then they will have to offer substantially more than the current price. With a few more share holders now holding 5%+ each i would suggest a drop bellow 40c if the deal does not eventuate would be unlikely.
With regards to the floor price they have offered i would suggest this information will be kept as hidden as legally possible as that would not be a good look or help with convincing more holders to sell at the 40c price.
At the current momentum i would highly doubt the buyout will eventuate at the present price offering. If anything i wouldnt be surprised to see a few more of the 5% holders increasing their holdings over the coming months in-particular our hedge fund holders who at 45c saw value
