ASIC has poured so much resources & $$$ into the court action and now need to do everything in their power to try and stop GSW "escaping"...
Basically, win loose or draw....there will be lots ASIC need to be answerable to....in regards to tax payers $$$ spent. They know they have misjudged the value of the returns -
Re: the CA - likewise...the returns are fast diminishing and both actions are last ditch efforts to rescue "pride" more than anything....
Getswift will readily provide indemnity .... theres not much $$$ left to worry about!
The CA "pot of gold" has shrunken from the size of an ocean to that of a puddle!.....
In ref to the cases above it has really become a case of clutching at straws now ....
