You need to ask yourself whether you want to support the company with your $$$ or just invest in the company.
The SPP shares will directly increase the companies cash balance and enable the growth profile, any on market purchase is just buying someone else's shares and has no positive impact on the company.
All that said, it is disappointing that the SP has fallen below the raise price. Personally I am up taking the SPP, as I would like to support the company, and yes that means I'm paying an extra 3c per share.
