Believe the reliability of the instrument panel and ability to utilise a multi input multi output advance process control algorithm is the SDV differentiation, this enables the 'custom' floc so to speak.
See below and attached report from 2017. It's not rocket science that's for sure, but none of the large players are much interested in providing this unique solution set, it requires a lot of PLC smarts, which is not a chemical suppliers strong point... This is all only in my experience.
