SciDev Ltd (ASX: SDV) ('SciDev' or 'the Company') is pleased to announce that it has secured a twoyear contract (with option to extend for an additional two-years) at the Thunderbird Minerals Sands operation (‘Thunderbird’) for the supply of MaxiFlox® chemistry, OptiFlox® equipment and technical services. Thunderbird, located on the Dampier Peninsula in Western Australia is a large, high grade minerals sands project being developed by Kimberley Mineral Sands Pty Ltd, a 50:50 joint venture between Sheffield Resource Limited (ASX:SFX) and Yansteel. Revenue under the contract is anticipated to commence in 1H FY24 as the Thunderbird project ramps up to production. The contract with Thunderbird further extends SciDev’s presence within the mineral sands extraction industry where our chemistries allow clients to reuse water, improve operational efficiencies and reduce their environmental footprint.
