The Danakil Basin is definitely heating up.

Companies in the Danakil Basin:

South Boulder: Positive Scoping study.

NGex Resources (TSX:NGQ): First four holes did not hit potash and they're reassessing this project.

Allana (TSX:AAA): Positive Prelim. Economic Assessment and they have bought another land tenement in the basin. They've indicated that they want to go to production.

Ethiopian Potash Corp (TSX:FED): First 16 holes have been drilled and are being sent to Saskatchewan for analysis.

Sainik: Private company, purchasing large amounts of equipment.

Nova: Private company.

BHP: Drill results generally not known.

Allana and BHP have a very good relationship and BHP was sharing Allana's camp and also the two were exchanging geological survey information.

I agree that we will be seeing further consolidation in the Danakil Basin.
