Someone posted an article on one of the Li threads recently, probably PLS, from The Age about very high level discussions taking place right now in the US to facilitate non-Chinese supply chains in critical minerals. That would involve very high tariffs on Chinese products, which they have recently announced, but also presumably support prices to guarantee adequate returns at all levels within the supply chain for Western companies. I couldn’t read the original as I don’t have a subscription but I took screenshots of the post. I’ll see if I can find them and post.
