All four holes hit 2% Cu and above with one hole going 3% Cu, so thats a pretty good result. It shows that the 2% Cu mineralisation extends outside of the current Mineral Resources at both A and D Zones. Now what Avalon needs to do is go and drill out these high grade copper extensions. If the mineralisation hangs together then the Viscaria Scoping Study shows it will create major value. The way I read the Discovery Zone acquisition is that it is the lowest risk way to getting the project over the line. Avalon claim that if all these extensions and Discovery Zone stack up then the project NPV will exceed +$300M. I guess its now time for Avalon to do the drilling to show us all the project can deliver that NPV. Keep in mind these guys have done this once before at Discovery Metals so they know how to extend mineral resources.
