Just the tip of the iceberg, as George Jones once said. One thing he did get right.
The 500+ million tonnes of High Grade Iron ore at around 63%Fe, is followed by the present 5 billion tonnes of Itabirite at 66%Fe to 68%Fe ore. Then followed by the extra 9.2 to 13.2 billion tonnes of Itabirite this also at 66%Fe to 68%Fe that they have estimated going by field work that has been carried out. The Itabirite is not final tonnage, but at a 0.05 to 0.08 or there about's ore to waste, it is a very low amount of waste to each tonne of finished iron ore. The 14.2 to 18.2 Billion tonnes I believe equate to around 7 to 9 Billion tonnes of final Pellet Feed and or Concentrate.
Something is going on to hold the projects back. It is a No brainer as far as it being one of the very best Iron Ore Projects known in the world. That is regardless of the distance from Port and the cost of building the Rail and Port. It is far cheaper to build the Rail and Port in Cameroon-The Congo Republic than it is in Australia.
Cash needed is chicken feed to the Chinese.

Westcott.
