The single biggest difference between natural and alcohol based is flammability.
In a 'risk assessed' world where mitigating risk is #1 priority it is pretty obvious industry will want non flammable over flammable if they do the same job every day of the week!
We have already seen reports of static charges igniting sanitiser on peoples hands causing 3rd degree burns.
