No Crowey, SE2 and SE3 have likely been plugged and abandoned, might end up as carbon sinks down the track. SE1 gas will power the peaker if all the paperwork stacks up. WA wants to close the Collie coal fired plant, peakers are part of how they might actually get that done. I spoke to a bloke the other day who knows a fair bit about gas and electricity, there is no resistance to new peakers at this point in time.
