Well IMO AEMO knocking back FHE is probably justified - the backup generation in my thinking needs to be in a form of production capacity which won't be impacted by a weather event. Renewable backing up renewable production sounds like it is asking for trouble, even though as much as in an ideal world it sounds great and sustainable. This decision has given me great respect to the decision-making process at AEMO.
