This is I hope is the end of Hailo.

"The Hailo-8 processor is an array of multipliers with integrated control and distributed memory. They can run the entire network on their chip because it’s integrated with memory, processing, and multipliers. The chip runs 26 Terra (26,000,000,000,000) Operations per Second (TOPS) at 3 TOPS per watt. That means that the chip burns at least 8.67 watts. It is NOT neuromorphic, but a systolic computing array.

All their documentation talks about Hailo-8. There is nothing about any plans to build a neuromorphic chip. In their press release about their recent $136M fund raise they show the Hailo-8."

So this means if you ran it on a car battery it would be flat in about 24 hours whereas AKD1000 can run on two pencil lite batteries for 6 months.

If you have no concerns for power consumption as I said yesterday Hailo has a product but remember you also have to factor in the power costs of cooling fans or other cooling systems to operate Hailo so they are an entirely different market but AKIDA can compete in their market whereas they cannot compete with AKIDA.

Once again if you send this post to Tony Dawe and seek confirmation I am sure you will have my opinion confirmed. I might have mucked up the 24 hours it could be 20 hours so I added a few to be fair to Hailo.
