Montezuma - full credit to them for trying to move their Butcherbird project forward into development. But it is a vastly different proposition due to its low grade (c. 10% Mn) orebodies.

1. Not only do they have to mine and process more ore (for simplicity’s sake you need twice as much ore at 10% Mn vs 20% Mn to produce the same amount of product all other things being equal).

2. Significant technology risk as they need to rely on a new and unproven processing technology to handle the low grade Mn ore.

Whereas PM1 / Battery Hub ore based on historic drilling may not be DSO quality (but who knows what further drilling will find especially in previously undrilled areas) but test work has already demonstrated the ore can be readily beneficiated using an industry standard process.

Out of the two I know which basket I am putting my eggs in.
