Goldscraper is absoutely correct in an earlier post about the finicky nature of FTPs. What makes FTPs finicky is that they are highly dependent on the quality of the feedstock being delivered to them. FTPs are designed to accept material meeting specific parameters which the FTP is set up to handle - deviations in those pre-planned target feedstock parameters will seriously affect FTP performance. FTPs are not stand alone units which are capable of correcting any prior feedstock problems. So there is more than simply focussing on FTP issues in the resolution of current processing problems.
I'm not sure that simple substitution of one FTP for another would necssarily improve the situation without there being a thorough review of their entire process - so it might be a while before we see a final solution to hitting nameplate concentrate targets.
and I'm not professing to being an expert in mining processing operations but it's bleeding obvious to me what's happening here.
