I noticed they seem to have incorporated improvments to reliability in this 2nd laser module and it has passed testing. A pessimistic view would guess that the first laser had room for improvment. An optimistic one would note that identifying and improving reliability prior to start up with little to no impact on schedule is exactly what you want.
