There was a sort of pandemic that was occupying people's minds and doing damage to small mining stocks across the spectrum. But investors are now realising that mining is one of the few bright stars in the firmament. I sensed, also, that there was some determined down-selling during that time, but I'm not clued in to know who and why that might have been done.
