I think it is a generational thing!
Some investors prefer to be spoon-fed, whilst others enjoy finding things out for themselves and exploiting inefficiently priced opportunities in small cap land. If one does the research they will find the information, it is all there, just have to dig deep and apply some well researched and conservative assumptions.
