PNG’s Prime Minister Peter O’Neill met on Tuesday with Talisman Energy’s Executive Vice President, Paul Blakely in Port Moresby where they discussed the progress of oil & gas projects in the Western Province.
“Talisman Energy – a Canadian Company, operating in PNG, is PNG’s third LNG project after the PNG LNG and Antelope projects. It is also the operator of the successful Stanley Gas Project,” Prime Minister O’Neill said.
He said major companies like PNG LNG’s operator ExxonMobil from USA, Total from France, Talisman Energy from Canada and other Asian companies from Japan and China operating in PNG, only shows that PNG has strategically and successfully attracted key foreign investment from almost every continent around the world.
