Interesting question.
I prefer to think that Meg elevated the ‘buy in’ price to pretty lofty levels (to reflect the changed state of the global market) and didn’t get an ‘over the odds’ buyer. There are some strong arguments for not selling down Sangomar too.
It’s a bit like people who put their $2m house on the market when the market is running hot (ie people who have no real intention of selling/moving) ......they’re not really interested in selling at ‘market price’ .... but they’ll sell if some desperado comes along and offers them $3m.
