The point is for hedging like insurance the decision should be regularly reviewed and assessed based on circumstances.
WDS at this stage has very deep pockets yet is paying significant cost to hedge a portion of sales for a relatively short period. Similar to a healthy 20 year old with deep pockets assessing health insurance. Is this good value?
