When I read that "To date a majority of the trials that have been conducted have produced encouraging results", I assumed that means some trials failed to produce technical, not economic, improvements, or failed technically in another way.

I guess you are right, that it is an economic issue. However, I still feel that some clarification would have been helpful, because if there were any technical non-improvements/shortcomings/failures as measured by the customer, that would be of potential concern to me.

A minor point only, however.
