Bet your question is the same as everyone else's (in their own minds ) ... Others are better equipped than me to provide inside industry knowledge on the subject, but whatever you and I think and are aware or afraid of, it is stating the very obvious (but sometimes the very obvious is useful to be stated) that management has thought and is aware of it too....

So all I can say, is we rely on their better knowledge and judgement than we could ever have, to see this to its best conclusion. Yes, that means if they cock it up, we'll be disappointed (!!), but let's face it, I'd rather have them on my team batting for me, than me doing it myself.
