Cheers mate, yep there are so many variables to play out.
It is easy for politicians and rent seekers to airily set targets but we are still far away from working out how we can replace fossil fuels in any given time frame. For my grandkid's sake I hope that it can be done.
There are still billions waiting for the life styles that access to energy can bring. We take this for granted.
And as you pointed out, access to funding for an unpopular sector.
But I still think the biggest issue for the sector is our uncertain delta strain future. There are still an awful lot of arms around the world without jabs- and vaccine hesitancy has become a real thing- remembering as I type that this subject can bring a flame war at any time.
