At the request of Glass Earth I have had a closer look at the stack of trays next to the core saw as per the latest photo installment from from WTM LinkedIn.
Can see a white vein in the lower right hand corner of the closest tray. I have zoomed in on the metre marks and the lower one is 231m and the higher one is 232m. The numbers are upside down in white paint pen. The metre mark is before the number on 231m and after the mark on 232m. This tells us that the bottom of this particular vein is at 231m.
