GOLDEN CROSS RESOURCES LIMITED - REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT
Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1, Golden Cross Resources Limited (Company) (ASX:GCR) requests that ASX grants a trading halt of its securities, effective immediately.
For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 17.1, the Company provides the following information:
1. The trading halt is requested pending the announcement of the results of the Company’s annual general meeting to be held on 16 December 2015 (AGM), The AGM agenda includes resolutions to approve a funding package that represents an alternative to the current off-market takeover bid for the Company by HQ Mining Resources Holding Pty Ltd which is conditional, amongst other things, on those resolutions not being passed.

2. The Company requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of commencement of trading on Thursday, 17 December 2015 and when the Company announces the results of the AGM to the ASX.

3. The Company expects that the trading halt will end when the results of the AGM are announced to the ASX.

4. The Company is not aware of any reason why a trading halt should not be granted.
