At a guess Mooney and Fitzpatrick (and Shields?) want to be able to take up enough shortfall to meet the minimum - they are desperate to not let CCE liquidate!

I will go with 0.0001% chance Davidson takes up any shares and 0% chance Ottaviano takes any. Neither ever believed in this ever really going anywhere. I think Davidson just saw CCE as bunny and his ticket to avoiding EMC going bust (and picking up a couple of million in the process!) - he wouldn't give a 2nd thought to wave. He's been under the bonnet and so has Ottaviano - if there is any real chance this technology is viable they will both know it. So if they don't buy that's another good sign it aint worth anything. If they put in material money I will eat my words and maybe even second guess my views but I am extremely confident they wont be kicking in a cent.
